Update #1

We're up to 26 donors! We've also received checks from a few people, so we have now raised $2,180. Thanks to all of you who have donated and please continue to share with others. Even $10 can help us get four brand new books.

Last month alone, we distributed over 350 books to children in our Book of the Month Club. Another 100 are going out to Kern Medical for new parents. We've heard a lot of great feedback from people who are grateful for programs like these. Here's something recent from a happy mother.

"My name is Mariela. My daughter is Avery and she is 1and a half years old. We wanted to thank you for all the books she has received. She loves every single one. I have always read to her since she was in my belly. Coming from a one income household it can be pretty hard to come by some pretty reasonable priced books since most are expensive for us. So this program has been able to help her little library grow. She LOVES to "read" and have us read books to her. She rather have a book over a toy. Thank you so much!"

Congratulations on achieving over 25 contributors! If you make it to 50 contributors, we've got $500 more to match.

Cristina Katerina and the Box...what was your favorite book? In honor of Lela who would have graduated 8th grade, and Isabelle who did. ?

To honor my Emma, Abby, and Ellie. Books in the hands of little one's and their families is such a beautiful thing.
