Dear Supporters,
I'm thrilled to share an exciting opportunity I've committed to for my professional development: attending the Orff Schulwerk program at UNCW from June 17th to 28th. This innovative program teaches music education through improvisation, singing, playing instruments, and dancing.
To make this happen, I need your support. The total expenses, including tuition, room and board, gas, and materials, amount to approximately $4000. Your donation will directly contribute to covering these costs and enabling me to bring back valuable knowledge to benefit my students.
A breakdown of my costs are as follows:
Gas: $350
Materials & Books: $600
Meals: $800
Hotel: $1950
Incidentals: $300
This isn't just a one-time event; it's a three-year commitment, with two-week sessions each summer, offering graduate-level course credit. By supporting me, you're investing in the future of music education and empowering me to elevate the learning experience for my students. All funds raised are supporting my first summer session. I will have to raise funds for each summer session.
