As some of you may know, I've been on an incredible entrepreneurial journey these past few years. Ever since I co-founded CrossCheck Studios, a cutting-edge media company, with my former business partne, I've poured every ounce of myself into building something truly special.
Leading the company's *checks notes* every division, I had the privilege of discovering and mentoring some of the most exciting up-and-coming creators in the industry. Together, we achieved remarkable milestones, from launching chart-topping podcasts to inking a first-look deal with a major studio that made Josh the youngest producer on their roster.
TLDR Shit went down and I am about to make it un-go-down.
The experience has been challenging on multiple levels. Not only did I lose the daily purpose and identity the work provided, but also the financial stability and resources that came with my reputation which was maligned while I faced death's door (thank God it did not have a warrant when it knocked!).
Now I'm in the difficult position of picking up the pieces and rebuilding from scratch at a time when I'm still regaining my footing physically and emotionally. The fallout has left me with limited funds to cover even basic necessities as I search for my next opportunity.
