My experience isn't unique. I didn't have access to a lot of technology growing up. I won a Gateway computer from school when I was 10. From there I learned how computers work, understanding what the difference between hardware and software, even taking the computer apart just to put it back together again. The digital divide isolates seniors, leaving them vulnerable and disconnected. Meanwhile, talented students from underprivileged backgrounds lack the resources to explore STEM fields, limiting their opportunities. This is why we created a suite of programs for all ages: The A.I. Full Stack for aspiring developers, Senior Tech Savvy for older adults, and Empowering Youth in Tech for underprivileged children.
We need your help to bridge the gap. Funds will go directly to creating a vibrant learning space. Imagine a modern office with reliable computers, high-speed internet, and interactive whiteboards. We'll stock it with the latest tech supplies - VR headsets for immersive learning, AI development tools, and age-appropriate tablets for seniors. But most importantly, we'll invest in experienced instructors passionate about igniting curiosity and fostering skills.
