Trinitas Classical Academy (TCA) was founded by a small group of parents and grandparents who share a passion for classical Christian education. We were awed and inspired by the "back to basics" style of instruction, the integrated approach of teaching students all subjects through the lens of Scripture, and the aim of not simply pushing students through the education system but to create a wise, virtuous, free-thinking individual.
After learning about classical Christian education, the decision became easy – we knew this educational pathway was the best option to provide for our children. However, we don’t want to limit this option to only the children belonging to our current small group of parents, we feel very strongly that this is an important educational opportunity that the entire Hayward community needs access to.
It is vital that parents are completely aware and involved in their children’s education, which is less and less the case in today's world. We whole-heartedly believe in the divine truth that God gave parents the responsibility to bring up their children in the training and instruction of the Lord. Parents, not school systems or teachers, are best equipped for this job. At TCA we understand that during school hours a parent’s God-given task is not abdicated, rather, it is delegated to the school in order to help and support parents in their mission. The role of the parent is essential in the success of the student. TCA looks forward to providing a Christ-centered and academically excellent environment that works in partnership with parents to provide the best education for their children and their children’s future.
