Survivors of Henry Rubio

My close friend Dawn just tragically lost her husband and soul mate after 23 years of marriage on Wednesday, October 4, 2023. 

   Henry was a public servant who was forced into early retirement from his calling as a paramedic due to his health and a stroke several years ago.

   Since then Dawn has been Henry's care taker as well as the one to make sure the home keeps running.

   Because of Henrys health, life insurance was too cost prohibitive and his disability was barely enough to make up the difference to make ends meet financially. Dawn works hard to make it work as she is raising their 2 teen granddaughters, caring for their elderly mother, their teen daughter as well as their youngest grandson, Thorin.

  This all comes on the heels of a devastating house fire 5 years ago, which caused the family to lose everything. Then tragedy struck again a few months later when her niece and nephew were struck and killed by a distracted driver in Rochester while at the school bus stop.  Life hit uet again  and Dawn and Henry's dear son Justin passed away unexpectedly 2 years ago. With Henry gone she has lost the small supplement of his income to her own and is left to fend for the whole family alone.

Dawn is the type to put others before herself and would never ask for help. This isnt something I like to do either but I cant sit back and watch a family struggle like this, especially after such a tragic loss. She's in need of funds to properly creamate her dear husband as well as keep the house going.

 If you would be willing to help in anyway, she would be eternally grateful and this will bless this family in their darkest hour.

Our goal incorporates the need to provide proper end of life arramgements for Henry as well as help with the cost of housing for as long as possible so Dawn can take time to focus on her family as they all heal from this huge loss.
