Rig Veda is an Afghan Black metal band founded in Kabul in 2019. The band was evacuated after the fall of Kabul by Taliban. They are now in the U.S and are making more music. Their latest song "O Fire" was a hit song. But it needs more attention. In order to gain enough attention for Rig Veda and spread the word, they need financial assistance for promoting their music.
Metal Sam, guitarist and founder fled his country after Taliban takeover with the help of a friend called "Erin Levi" and NY times journalist Kim Barker. In Afghanistan, music is strictly prohibited and musicians are under threat. He believes that metal music helps him to promote message of peace and freedom of expression. He has been mentioned by many music and news magazines since then including Billboard, BBC, ABC news and recently PBS news. His journey didn't end there, as he is going to make more music. In order to make this happen, some money is needed to promote his latest song and more songs that he is currently working on. So please spread the word and give! Anything helps!
