More Info

As Jewish Americans, my friends and I are deeply moved by the courageous IDF soldiers who stand on the front lines to protect our homeland. Two of our close friends, Ethan and Jacob, who previously served in the Israel Defense Forces, have been called up as reservists to protect Israel in the ongoing conflict.

Upon their return, they were met with a challenging reality - a shortage of essential supplies. In particular, they lack the protection of bullet-proof vests, a fundamental safeguard in the perilous environment they navigate. Ensuring that they have access to these vests is not just a matter of necessity; it's a testament to our commitment to their safety and well-being. Your support can make all the difference by providing them with this crucial protective gear.

Our Goal:

We have set a goal of $144,000 to provide 220 IDF Paratroopers with 220 new bullet-proof vests. This essential gear will significantly enhance their safety and well-being as they selflessly defend our nation.

Every dollar raised is going to a U.S. supplier who will also deliver the vests in Tel Aviv for distribution directly to the units. We are now working with the Israeli American Council to ensure all of your donations are streamlined into helping Jacob, Ethan and their units receive these vests.

Your donation, regardless of the amount, will make a profound impact on our friends and their units. These soldiers are not just names or faces; they are ordinary people. They are friends, sons, cousins, colleagues, who have traveled back to Israel from all over the world to defend Israel. They embody courage, loyalty, and an unwavering love for Israel, and they need our support now more than ever.

How You Can Help:

Donate: Every contribution, big or small, brings us closer to our goal. Your donation directly contributes to the safety of IDF soldiers, providing them with the new bullet-proof vests they urgently need.

Share: Help spread the word about our campaign through social media, email, and word of mouth. Together, we can reach more people who may want to support this cause and ensure our friends have the protection they need.

Join Us: If you'd like to be actively involved in fundraising efforts, please reach out to us. Your assistance can help make this campaign even more successful, ensuring that friends from our own communities are safeguarded.

If we surpass our goal, my friends and I will look into either supporting more paratrooper units, or other relief aid to Israel during this difficult time. Thank you to all donors for their tremendous support of this cause.

Update #5

Dear Family, Friends and Supporters,

We have met our fundraising goal of a $144,000! Thank you to everyone who has donated, shared and supported our campaign. We could not have done this without you.

We are currently exploring different ways to allocate any funds raised over our $144,000 goal. These include additional supplies to Jacob and Ethans’ units or to an Israeli-American Council initiative.

For the past week, the Denver fundraising team has worked to find the best supplier to minimize logistical issues and costs. Working with the Israeli-American Council, we have found two Israeli-based suppliers who are able to produce these vests and plates. We are actively working with them now.

If you would like to watch a story about Alex, Ethan and Jacob Grinberg on Fox31, please navigate to the top of the page and watch here: https://kdvr.com/news/local/denver-twins-fighting-in-israel-dont-have-bulletproof-vests/ (https://kdvr.com/news/local/denver-twins-fighting-in-israel-dont-have-bulletproof-vests/)

We will continue to update you on the status of the production and delivery of these ceramic vests to Jacob, Ethan and their units. We cannot thank you enough for your help.

With love and thanks,
Jake, Alex and the Denver fundraising team

Update #2

Dear Family, Friends and Supporters,

With your incredible support, we've hit 20% of our goal so far. Thank you very much!

Due to the overwhelming popularity of the campaign, the site was down for a brief period today and would not accept donations. That issue has now been resolved and you may continue making donations.

Please continue to share with others as we aim to meet our goal in the next three days.

Thank you for supporting our effort to help our friends in Israel.

With love and gratitude,

Jake
