In these trying times, I find myself reaching out for support.. As the sole breadwinner, recent months have seen me exhaust every avenue to provide for my family—odd jobs, plasma donations, and lowered gig rates. Yet, the abrupt end of my work engagements and lack of new gigs to replace loss of gigs, has left us vulnerable.
In addition, a critical Hiatal Hernia Repair and Stomach Bypass on April 4, I am now staring down a month of recovery without the ability to work adequately to support my family. My independent contractor status, bars me from unemployment benefits, leaving us without a financial fallback.
I have always kept my financial struggles private, but the severity of our situation compels me to ask for your help. Your support during my recovery could be the lifeline that sees my family through this hardship.
