Hello folks!!
This is a tad uncomfortable for me because I've always been a hard worker and it's not easy for me to ask for help but here goes.
My name is Mike. I have worked my entire life as a musician, and am currently playing music in three live bands, two of which are traveling across the country and playing music in small bars, clubs, and venues.
These bands make very little money on the road, but generally, they will be enough to cover our gas and hotel for the evening. All of life expenses are up to me, but while I am in the summer season (which is my busiest travel season for music) I do not have enough time to both pursue this goal and work at the same time.
If I lived in a European country, I would be able to apply for a stipend to cover me and my wife's expenses while I was out working the music job, but living in the United States this is not an option. My only option without pursing alternative funding is to quit my life's work (and my heart's passion) and take a factory job.. flushing years and years of hard work down the toilet.
