Fire Safety week is coming in October and elementary children all over need to know about fire safety. They can also take a virtual tour of the fire station and see what firefighters do and how they care for the public.

I have known too many people who have lost something or someone that a firefighter, if on site, could have saved. My own brother, though not in a fire, could have lived in a schoolyard accident if the fire emt's had gotten there in time. Quick reaction with proper resources is what we must have in our community to help save lives. So many communities are stretched to thin. Do your part, teach your children about fire safety and all about the men and women who are there when you need them. This video tour will take the children where most will never go, inside a fire station, on a ride in a fire truck but most important, lessons about fire safety.
