Destiny Beyond Grit Mission Funds

The main goal is to share the stories of people sometimes unable to reach out for help because of circumstances that may not be understood or heard. We hope that through interview storytelling, we are able to spread awareness and promote trauma-informed thinking. In a sense this is not just a visual arts project, but a community outreach project dedicated to offering informal peer support and connecting individuals to vital local resources while artistically expressing and showcasing the reality of many people who may be misunderstood. Together, we pave a path towards one’s desired destiny through compassion and grit.

Moreover, these funds play a pivotal role in covering the costs of case management, which includes the time and effort required to research available resources and transport people to organizations that can provide them with the necessary support.
